Haunted Attractions That Are Really Haunted

Most likely you have heard tales of the Halloween haunted attractions that are really haunted. I am sure that many of these stories are sales hype, but one local haunted attraction actually had so many problems that they brought in some paranormal investigators.
The investigation took place during the off hours, and not only were they able to capture EVP, and images on camera, but one of the investigators was physically attacked, and became so ill he had to leave the building.
I have heard of several of these haunted attractions that were actually haunted; one reason could be that many of them are operated out of very old buildings, but another reason could be that the ghosts are attracted to the energy that is in these locations. Night after night hundreds of people are scared witless, which leaves behind a lot of energy that negative spirits may feed off of.
It is something you may want to think about when you are walking through a haunted attraction next Halloween. That ghostly apparition that you glimpse down the hall may not be special effects.

Haunted Lighthouses on the Oregon Coast

There is just something really spooky about lighthouses; maybe it is their isolation, and aura of loneliness, or maybe it is the many tragedies that a life at sea can visit upon those who tread too often on her waters.
Just north of Florence Oregon is the Heceta Head Lighthouse, which has tales of a wispy ghostly woman, and things that simply disappear without a trace. Once a famed photographer and his companion caught sight of the phantom woman in an upstairs window while on a shoot at this lighthouse, but they are only a couple of the many people who seem to have had encounters with this ghostly wench.
Now on to Newport Oregon and the ghost of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse where some believe that the old lighthouse keeper still resides within its walls and the phantom of a young woman is purported to be seen on the beach at times. Though the tales of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse are questionable due to recently discovered information, there are still plenty of haunted lighthouses on the Oregon Coast, as well as in many other locations.
Imagine spending a foggy, dark night in one of these old buildings; what ghostly specters might you encounter.

Visiting Ghosts

If you have every had a paranormal experience that just seemed to come out of nowhere for no reason, you may have had a visiting ghost.
You live in a new house that has little chance of being haunted, you’ve never had much experience with the paranormal, and you certainly don’t play with talking boards, or perform séances, so why all the sudden are the doors opening and shutting by themselves, the TV turning on and off, and you are hearing whispered voices?
You may have a visiting ghost.
The current theory is that ghosts can and do go where they want, and while passing through may find something of interest and stick around for a while. This makes sense in many ways.
For example, it would explain why you might suddenly have ghost activity out nowhere, and then it disappears just as fast. Possibly a ghost was passing by, and found something about you, or your house, or something else that caught their attention, and they stay to investigate.
Whatever the reason, those who do experience ghost activity, may notice how it does seem to come and go. The visiting ghost could be one explanation.
